
Dr. Michael Robinson, PT, DPT, DHSc, OCS, CMTPT/DN, CCTT
Dr. Michael Robinson earned his doctorate of physical therapy from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also residency-trained in orthopedics by the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Robinson is board-certified in orthopedics and specializes in treating patients with diagnoses such as temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD), head/neck pain, hypermobility and chronic pain.
Dr. Robinson is recognized as a specialized practitioner of dry needling by the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Additionally, he serves as an assistant instructor for Myopain Seminars, the world’s leader in dry needling/trigger point education.
Dr. Robinson primarily serves as an assistant professor with the physical therapy program at Howard University. His publications and research interests include topics such as low back pain and skin cancer screening in physical therapy.
