Q: What accomplishment are you most proud of?
The accomplishment I’m most proud of is being the best dad in the world to my 6-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter. With the support of my wife, fatherhood has been one of the most fulfilling journeys I’ve ever been on.
Q: What type of professional growth have you experienced in the past few years?
As I finish up my Doctor of Health Science degree with the University of the Pacific, my journey in becoming a bonafide professor in the profession of physical therapy has developed tremendously. I’ve learned so much about what it means to teach individuals at the highest level. The instructor I am today is significantly different from the instructor I was 7 years ago.
Q: What is your favorite part of being a physical therapist?
Simply put: Seeing the smiles on patients’ faces upon helping them achieve their goals.
Q: What are your passions within the field of physical therapy?
My passion would have to be developing the next generation of physical therapists. As society grows older, so does the demand for quality health practitioners. I couldn’t be happier to be in the position I am now, contributing to the effort of supplying great therapists to the world.
Q: Where is your favorite place to visit?
My favorite place to visit is Las Vegas, Nevada. I am a sucker for warm weather, fine dining, and entertainment.
Q: What is your favorite pastime?
My favorite pastime is taking family bike rides throughout the trails of Montgomery and Prince George’s County.
Q: What was your most memorable job before working at Bethesda Physiocare?
My most memorable job was a dish washer position I had at Riderwood Village. It was the very first and most laborious job I’ve ever had. I told myself to stay in school and maybe I won’t have to work that hard again.
