Noelle Schlegel, PT, DPT, Cert-DN, CMTPT/DN, RYT
Dr. Noelle Schlegel received her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the College of St. Scholastica.
Dr. Schlegel is interested in kinesthetic and movement therapy and blends her Western medical education with holistic methods she has learned through her training as a Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Breathwork Instructor, and Certified Meditation Instructor.
Throughout her 30 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, Noelle has had the privilege of working with Professional Athletes, Musicians, Dancers, and Circus Aerialists, many of whom credit their continued performance to Noelle’s expertise in dry needling and movement therapy.
Dr. Schlegel is a contributing author in the medical textbook “Trigger Point Dry Needling” and has been a guest lecturer to the Maryland Physical Therapy Association. She is credentialed in several types of dry needling and is recognized as a distinguished dry needling practitioner through the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
Additionally, Noelle serves as an instructor for Myopain Seminars. Dr. Schlegel specializes in working with female athletes. She also has expertise in working with adults with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), headaches, TMJ pain, pelvic pain, post-partum incontinence, sports injuries, orthopedic injuries, and injuries resulting from repetitive stress as those suffered by musicians, rock climbers, gamers, and computer users.
Noelle also has a private practice in Baltimore where she treats yogi’s, Cross-fitters, weekend warriors, and Pickle-ball enthusiasts.
