Ethan McCoy, PT, DPT, ATC, CSCS, CAFS, CMTPT/DN
Dr. Ethan McCoy graduated from Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training before pursuing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX. Upon entering the field, he pursued certifications in dry needling, strength and conditioning, and applied functional science to increase his range of expertise. Dr. McCoy has worked with patients with many conditions and diagnoses during his time as a physical therapist, including orthopedic injuries, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, chronic pain, and neurologic conditions.
Dr. McCoy is recognized as a specialized practitioner of dry needling by the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Additionally, he serves as faculty for Myopain Seminars, the world’s leader in dry needling/trigger point education. His current clinical interests include chronic pain, sports injury physical therapy and medicine, and performance enhancement. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling to new places, hiking and camping, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs!
